Books I’ve read in high school and sometimes still miss

It is Tuesday and Tuesday doesn’t mean #TransformationTuesday, it means Top Ten Tuesday! Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and Bookish where we get a new topic for a top 10 list. This week’s topic is Back to School and I wanted to look back and see what I’ve read in high school, since I’m starting college next week.

1. The Hunger Games

What a surprise?!?! No, not really. I was obsessed. Me and my friends, at the time, even went to the premiere in our local cinema. I loved The Hunger Games so much.

2. Twilight

I was such a big fan. My whole room was covered in posters and stickers and what not. I loved Twilight. Still do, though. It was my youth.

3. Water for Elephants

This book ripped me apart. Literally. My gosh, this was so beautiful. I highly recommend it and the movie is equally beautiful. Lees verder

Stacking the shelves: in which I just can’t stop hoarding books

Hello!

On this episode of buying all the books, I will show you my latest purchase. This week has been amazing and crazy, because I received so many books. Well, I bought four myself and got two, but STILL. Remember how I unhauled 18 books last week? I already got 11 this month, so it’s no biggie.

I am now the official owner of these beauties! I only had Divergent and Insurgent as paperback and Dutch version and they didn’t match and I’ve been dying to get the hardcovers ever since. Let me tell you, I was so happy when the big box came. As you can see, I’m literally stacking my shelves, because I need to reorganize them.

What did you get this week? Are you literally hoarding books?

Stacking the shelves: in which I almost completed a trilogy

Hello!

A few weeks ago I’ve won a giveaway on Instagram, hosted by the lovely Rita. At first I was like: are you serious? I could not believe it. I mean, I never win anything or rarely, so I was kind of flabbergasted. The prize was to pick two books of your choice under 20 AUD and I picked…

Anna and the French Kiss and Lola and the Boy Next Door! I’ve read them as eBooks and was dying to finally get them. The trilogy is almost complete, haha. Thank you so much, Rita!

What did you get this week?

Books I still haven’t read and should be reading really soon

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and Bookish where we get a new topic for a top 10 list. This week’s topic is Ten Books That Have Been On Your Shelf (Or TBR) From Before You Started Blogging That You STILL Haven’t Read Yet. There’s no order in this. I just went over my TBR.

Well, this is easy, considering I’m here for four months now. Bring on the shameless TBR. 😉

The Liebster Award

liebster-award-2

Hello!

I was tagged by the lovely Ayla from Books & Babbles to do the Liebster Award. This award is giving out to bloggers, by bloggers. I’ve been given ten questions to answer and at the end I give some other bloggers ten new questions.

1. You could sit down and chat with one of your favourite book characters; who would it be?

…haha. Very funny, Ayla, because my favorite characters are dead. Anyway, I would want to chat with Nymphadora Tonks, because I absolutely adore her and want to know how she does it, you know? She just doesn’t care and I’d like to be like that, too. To care less.

2. Your favourite author asks you to come with a plot to his/her new book, what would it be about?

Wow. This is a difficult one. I’d like to see more books about characters who deal with anxiety and/or depression. Like, the real thing, not the sugarcoated version.

3. Your bookshelf caught fire and you can only save one book, which one would it be?

You’re really serious about this, Ayla, aren’t you? Dear lord. Okay. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. There, I said it. Can’t change it now. Lees verder
