When Magizoologist Newt Scamander arrives in New York, he intends his stay to be just a brief stopover. However, when his magical case is misplaced and some of Newt’s fantastic beasts escape, it spells trouble for everyone…
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them marks the screenwriting debut of J.K. Rowling, author of the beloved and internationally bestselling Harry Potter books. Featuring a cast of remarkable characters, this is epic, adventure-packed storytelling at its very best.
Whether an existing fan or new to the wizarding world, this is a perfect addition to any reader’s bookshelf.
Fantastic Beasts is describable in just two words: freaking brilliant. That’s what it is. Truly. I saw the movie first, of course and then read the script and I so recommend it. Everything you’ve missed in the movies is in there. It’s all there. I got an even closer look at it and could absorb everything. Like, the little things Newt does with Tina? Completely brilliant. Absolutely magnificent. Summed up together: freaking adorable.
After seeing and reading Fantastic Beasts there is just one way to describe my feelings:
Like, can you imagine Jacob seeing all this stuff? I would so react the same. I was Jacob all the way through. I voted for Jacob to be president.
It was so good to be back, you know? I keep saying that with every Harry Potter related book, but still. It is. I enjoy it so much. Especially when we learn new things and other dimensions and other people. To be honest, I hope they release every Fantastic Beasts script, because I’d so buy that.
